Poinsettias
When the holidays arrive, visit DeWayne's Nursery for the finest poinsettia plant selection in town. Whether you're looking for a great gift or decorating your own home or office, our Christmas poinsettias will make the perfect addition to your holiday decor. We carry a variety of poinsettias; traditional red, white, pink, marble, Jingle Bell, and a few painted plants. There are three sizes available; a very small 4 inch, 6.5 inch and a large 8 inch size. Our inventory consists of nearly 400 plants total.
Poinsettias are foiled, glittered, and decorated with beautiful ribbons and bows in every color combination so that no two are alike. Give us a call and we can deliver one for you. We deliver to Almena, Barron, Cameron, Comstock, Cumberland, Haugen, Rice Lake and surrounding areas.

Poinsettia Care
Keep your Poinsettia plant near a sunny window but they prefer bright filtered light. Provide room temperatures between 68-70 degrees. Generally speaking, if you are comfortable, so is your poinsettia. Water your plant when the soil feels dry to the touch, and use less water but more often. Do not overwater or allow it to sit in standing water and do not fertilize while in bloom. Do not place plants near cold drafts or excessive heat. The widespread belief that poinsettias are posionous is a misconception. The poinsettia has been proven to be a safe plant and is included on the list of houseplants most helpful in removing pollutants from indoor air.

Norfolk Island Pine Tree
If you wish to practice a green lifestyle and are looking for the ideal potted Christmas tree, the Norfolk pine tree is a perfect choice. Your Norfolk pine tree will continue to grow indoors as a lovely houseplant and can be used each year for the holidays as a treasured part of your holiday traditions.
Norfolk Pine Tree Care
Norfolk pines do not like to be transplanted. Transplant when the tree has severely overgrown the pot. Choose to locate your tree in a spot with bright filtered sunshine. They should be placed close to a window where they will receive natural light. Norfolk pines can survive with artificial light but will not thrive. Keep soil moist but not soggy. Do not let the tree stand in water. Norfolk trees prefer temperatures between 50-70 degrees. Norfolk pines are subtropical plants and will not tolerate temperatures below 40 degrees. Feed with fertilizer formulated for indoor house plants. Norfolk pine trees crave humidity. On a dry winter day your Norfolk pine would benefit from a misting of water on it's needles.
